Try booking a walk & wade steelhead trip. There is no time like the present! The little sprinkling of rain does WONDERS for the conditions... Should be another fantastic week on the Vedder.

The Fraser has been shaping up with the warmer weather, it's fun to head out right now with our Spring Vetran guides. They've been guiding the spring months for years and love that no one is out on the Fraser! In March things really heat up and April is definitely one of the top times. Spring is in the air... and so is our love of Sturgeon Fishing!!!!
Try, Try, Try, Again....

He retired from Steelheading 2 weeks ago. Was dragged back out, and sure enough... Bam! And doesn't he look Happy!
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try, again.
Or try it with a GUIDE! Then at least you have someone to blame for your failures!!!

February 11th, 2009Life as a Fishing Guide
February 6th, 2009

Fishing Guides are repeatedly asked the question- "What do you do in the "Off Season?"
The answer is usually "nothing". Which is really a boring answer, and probably makes the Question poser feel a bit silly. Besides it's not true at all.
Over the past few years I have noticed a trend, it's scary, and sickening...
They GO FISHING. And it's not for "research" or to better themselves in their jobs for the next Season. It's because they LIKE IT, even when they aren't catching a darn thing, they do exactly the same thing, get up early, get their waders on, meet at the tackle shop, or boat launch, and get out on the water.
Maybe the rest of us are all in the wrong profession. For example the Electrician never goes home and installs new lights, or wires the bathroom that's been sitting unfinished for 6 years. I Never go home and yabber away on the phone or enter data into fancy spreadsheets on the computer, in fact the computer is the last thing I want to sit in front of.
The fishing guide knows there is an opportunity to catch fish year round, and they love it, so they go out fishing everyday! Lucky for them the fishing has been really good this winter. Some proof of this and to make this rant more interesting is above!
Enjoy wiring fixtures, plumbing toilets, analyzing financial data, or whatever else might ail you- Everyone in this company is enjoying a great day of fishing!
Call Us if you want to go out- the guides would probably love to get paid for what they are doing anyways!
