Not only does this region offer some of the best fishing but also some of the calmest and protected water you will find anywhere on Vancouver Island. Salmon runs that migrate from ALaska swim their way down the west coast so they must swim right by our favourite fishing spots. Not only that but if you are wanted to target Halibut you don’t need to run 30 miles off shore – we have some excellent Halibut grounds only 3 miles from our protected waters. Each room has a spectacular view of Hecate Cove. Our lodge opens for peak season fishing from June 21 to August 15, but we continue to offer some great fishing for both salmon and halibut well into late August.
